Chief Wellbeing Officer Baptist Memorial Health Care

With more than 25 years of experience in the health and wellness field, Lia is dedicated to promoting the wellbeing of individuals and communities through innovative, evidence‑based programs and education. As Chief Wellbeing Officer at Baptist Memorial Health Care, she oversees the design and implementation of wellness initiatives across the organization, aligning them with Baptist’s mission to improve quality of life for patients, employees, and partners.
Lia brings diverse perspectives shaped by her background in exercise physiology, health administration, and leadership. She earned her Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Memphis and has held roles across multiple settings, giving her a broad understanding of the challenges and opportunities in advancing health and wellness.
In her current role, Lia leads a multidisciplinary team of wellness professionals, nurses, and consultants who deliver programs addressing chronic condition prevention, stress management, nutrition, physical activity, and mental health. She collaborates with senior leaders, physicians, educators, and community organizations to foster a culture of wellness and engagement both within Baptist and throughout the Mid‑South. Her expertise in wellness education, consulting, program management, communication, and strategic planning continues to drive meaningful outcomes for the communities she serves
