Heather Brace serves as the Chief People Officer at Intermountain Health, where she leads the charge in shaping a vibrant, inclusive, and high-performing culture for over 68,000 employees across six states. With strategic oversight of everything from talent management and recruitment to total rewards and learning and development, Heather is at the heart of what makes Intermountain a great place to work.

Since joining Intermountain in 2000, Heather has worn many hats across the organization, giving her a deep understanding of its people and operations. In 2018, she stepped into her current role and has since guided the organization through transformative mergers, departmental reorganizations, and innovative benefit enhancements—all with a focus on elevating the employee experience.

Heather is known not just for her strategic leadership, but for her unwavering commitment to employees. She believes that when people feel valued, supported, and inspired, they thrive—and so does the organization.

Heather holds both a master’s degree in Health Services Administration and Health Promotion & Education, and a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from the University of Utah.
